Give Every Child A Chance, a non-profit based out of Manteca, provides FREE one-on-one tutoring for K-12 students at the Tracy Branch Library on Mondays and Wednesdays. If your child is an IEP student, failing a subject, or can provide a strong teacher recommendation for academic assitance please pick up an application at the library or online (http://www.gecac.net/oneononetutoring.html).

The Rising Sun Energy Center, a non-profit, is looking to hire and train Tracy youth between the ages of 15 and 22 to be Energy Specialists for the summer. Energy specialists visit homes in their community by scheduled appointment to help residents save energy, water, and money. For more information about the job and the organization come for a special session with a Rising Sun representative.

Learn to be a pawn star at the library's chess club! Join us as Chess Master Richard Beale leads the club in teaching and understanding chess strategies. All ages are welcome to participate in the instruction and playing, which begins at noon, and runs until 2 p.m. every Saturday. The Tracy Library Chess Club is a USCF (United States Chess Federation) affiliate.
