All About Baby Story

This half-hour program for children ages 0-2  incorporates "Mother Goose on the Loose" guidelines to provide a time "just for babies". Focus is on literacy building blocks for baby's development through sharing picturebooks, board books, fingerplays, rhythm/rhyme, bounces, and simple songs.  Above all it is a fun and interactive time for babies and caretakers facilitated by library staff.   Sponsored by Tracy FOL and San Joaquin County.

Play time with a changing variety of toys for our yougest patrons after storytime.   This will last half an hour.  Patrons attending  Tuesday storytime are invited to participate. Sponsored by Friends of the Tracy Library.
Perry’s Magic

Wednesday, Jan. 22, 4:00pm
Ages 10+. Visit our collaborative work space for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. These spaces help provide access for learning critical skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Use our rotating collection of electronic kits, 3D printers, coding robots, fabric, jewelry supplies, and more. Every other Wednesday from 4:00-5:00pm.

Preschool Storytime

Please join us for this library staff led preschool storytime for children ages 2-5 years.  This engaging program includes stories, rhymes, music and fun that help build a love of reading and develop early literacy skills.    It all begins at 10:30am.

Teen volunteers will help students in grades K-8 with their homework questions on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00-7:00pm, except for closed days and school breaks.

Fratello Marionettes

Please join us to experience this wonderful production done with stringed marionette puppets. Peter and the Wolf is set to the majestic Prokofiev score, designed to introduce children to classical music and the individual instruments within an orchestra. The Fratello Marionette troupe are masters at their craft.  We hope you can join us for their performance.
