All About Baby-Virtu

All About Baby is a half-hour program packed with baby-appropriate developmental FUN which includes fingerplays, storytime,sharing boardbooks and simple musical engagement. Emphasis is on rhythm, rhyme and sensory connections, but most of all on having a joyful time with others!  Parent/caregiver participation is required. This program is based on "Mother Goose on the Loose" created by Betsy Diamant-Cohen. Check it out on the library's Facebook page! Sponsored by Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library.

  1. Grab the take-home crafts from the Tracy Branch Library checkout desk (while supplies last).
  2. Register to get the link for the virtual meeting.
The virtual meeting link will be sent the day before the event. If no participants are registered, the program will be canceled.

Attending storytimes is a fun way to help your children get ready to read. You are welcome to join us as we enjoy animal songs and stories. We'll read, sing, talk, and play!

Please register by 9:00 a.m. on the Thursday morning of storytime, to receive a Microsoft Teams link via email. Patrons must register for each individual session.

Chat about a fun book while improving your reading comprehension skills!

To join the book club:
  1. Pick up the book and craft materials from the Tracy Branch Library checkout desk.
  2. Read the book at home before the virtual meeting.
  3. Attend the virtual meeting to discuss the book and make the craft together.

VIRTUAL Compassionat

Grades 3 and up

Books can help young ones develop empathy and a deeper understanding of themselves and each other. Kids can check out the featured book from the library, read it, and respectfully discuss insights and thoughts at the end of the month.  We'll read novels that address such topics as cultural diversity, neurodiversity, mental health, and more.

Join the Escalon and Mountain House Library staff as we make delicious recipes inspired by great reads. Check us out virtually to learn the recipe and steps, or follow along in your own kitchen - we will provided a list of ingredients after registration.

Wednesday, September 29th at 4pm, we will create a scrumdiddlyumptious s'mores milkshake, inspired by the Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Please be courteous to all guests and staff. 
All participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult
If following the recipe, please keep in mind food allergies and sensitivities and work accordingly.

Halloween Reading Ra
Friday, Oct. 1
For Kids and Teens (Ages 0-19). October 1-17, 2021. Read for the chance to win a free pumpkin! 
  1. Pick up a Halloween Reading Raffle form from the checkout desk of the Tracy Branch Library.
  2. Read and rate a book!
  3. Return the log to the library to be entered into the pumpkin raffle.
Enter as many times as you wish. The winner will be notified on October 18, 2021.
