Lego Club is a fun hour of creative lego building for all ages (we do have Duplos for little ones). We provide the Legos; you provide the imagination. This program is scheduled every-other month, on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. Younger children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. Sponsored by Friends of the Ripon Memorial Library.

Beginning yoga and Pilates is a "comfort-level" hour-long class to help you relax, build core strength and feel better thanks to gentle stretching, fluid movements and attention to your breath and body. Taught by certified instructor, Susan McClanahan, this weekly class is free with a donation optional for the Friends of the Ripon Memorial Library. All About Baby is a baby/toddler focused story time that lasts 30 minutes. Babies and parents/caregivers will engage in directed developmental "play": songs, rhymes, fingerplays, boardbook sharing and listening to stories. Library staff facilitates this fun program that emphasizes skill-building at baby's level. Sponsored by Friends of the Ripon Memorial Library.

Book Discussion Group meets once a month, on the second Thursday at 6:00 p.m. (unless noted). The book selections are made by the librarian, to ensure that there are plenty of copies.  If you are interested in joining please come in, meet the librarian and get a copy of the "next" book and questions. Be prepared for a lively exchange of ideas and insightful ruminations that will make reading a book a "shared and enriching" experience!

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. 
What To Bring:
  • Proof of identification (photo ID)

  • Social Security cards for you, your spouse and dependents 

  • An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) assignment letter may be substituted for you, your spouse and your dependents if you do not have a Social Security number

  • Proof of foreign status, if applying for an ITIN

  • Birth dates for you, your spouse and dependents on the tax return

  • Wage and earning statements (Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R,1099-Misc) from all employers

  • Interest and dividend statements from banks (Forms 1099)

  • All Forms 1095, Health Insurance Statements

  • Health Insurance Exemption Certificate, if received

  • A copy of last year’s federal and state returns, if available

  • Proof of bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit such as a blank check

  • To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms

  • Total paid for daycare provider and the daycare provider's tax identifying number such as their Social Security number or business Employer Identification Number

  • Forms 1095-A, B or C, Affordable Health Care Statements

  • Copies of income transcripts from IRS and state, if applicable
