Attending storytimes is a fun way to help your child get ready to read. You and your children are welcome to join us virtually as we enjoy animal songs and stories during June and July. We'll read, sing, talk, and play!

Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Please register online by the prior Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., to receive the Microsoft Teams meeting link the night before the program.

All About Baby is a half-hour program packed with baby-appropriate developmental FUN which includes fingerplays, storytime,sharing boardbooks and simple musical engagement. Emphasis is on rhythm, rhyme and sensory connections, but most of all on having a joyful time with others!  Parent/caregiver participation is required. Summer Reading is back for all ages!
June 1 - July 21, 2021

Summer Reading prepares babies and toddlers for success by developing early language skills, helps children build reading and language skills, motivates teens to read and discuss literature, and encourages adults to experience the joy of reading.

 It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Read books. 
Children 0-12 read 10 books.
Teens and Adults read 3 books.

2. Submit a reading log.
At your local SSJCPL branch or online at the Summer Reading Page.

3. Pick up your prize(s).
Available at your local SSJCPL branch. While supplies last.
