Come learn how to create beautiful paintings with Tharini as your guide. She will show you how to use acrylic paints to make the brush stroke, practice a bit, and then put all you've learned together into a pretty flower composition you can take home and frame. The Mountain House Library Chess Club meets every Saturday from 3-4:30pm. The Chess Club is open to 8 year olds and above.  The participants will receive instruction and practice playing.  Resources are available to help with additional learning outside of club play. Equipment will be supplied. Periodically the Chess Club will have a Tournament.

MH Seniors Group Hag

We hope you can join us for an educational and fun adventure with the Mountain House Seniors Group.   Members will be touring the Haggin Museum in Stockton.  They will be meeting at the MH Library at 9am and will be leaving by 9:15am.  Seniors will be providing transportation themselves.  Contact Clay Musa if you wish to attend or need a ride.  The group may also go to lunch together afterwards. The Bubble Lady

Experience bubbles like you never have before.  Everything bubbles, bubble haircuts, bubble brains, and dragon bubbles, to name a few. Laughter and feeling good are by-products of this show.  This program is extremely popular and space is limited.  Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Wellness Workshop

Eliminate stress with breathing techniques and meditation.  Join us at these Mind-Body Wellness Workshops to learn the process and techniques that help this to happen.  These workshops presented by The Art of Living (www.ArtofLiving.org) are free for a limited time.
No registration necessary.  Come by the MH Library on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of September (2nd & 16th) and October (7th and 21st) at 3:15 to participate.
