STEAM SATURDAY: How
Saturday, Apr. 27, 2:00-3:00
Come explore science & the arts by learning how a garden grows. We’ll discuss habitats, growth/environment & plant biology.
Children will get a chance to show their creative side as they decorate a seed starter container.

Legos is hosted every first Saturday of the Month. Have fun building something unique to be displayed in the library.

Teens: Start Smart D
Thursday, May 9, 4:00-5:50
Start Smart is a program from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) aimed at helping newly licensed (or soon to be licensed) teen drivers (ages 15 to 19) become more aware of the responsibilities that accompany the privilege of being a licensed California driver.

Teens are invited to attend and participate in a free 2 hour long Start Smart class, hosted by a local CHP officer. Learn collision avoidance techniques and how to identify collision-causing elements such as excessive speed, driving under the influence, and distracted driving.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be awarded a certificate.

*Registration is required; drop-ins welcome as space permits.
