Come join us for another science program with Miss Myah from River School!  Miss Myah will be leading us in 2 experiments testing static electricity with balloons.
We will try bending a stream of water, getting 2 balloons to stick to each other, and also getting the balloon to pick up pieces of pepper or gelatin.  Miss Myah will also bring in her Van deGraaff generator to explore the extremes of static electricity.  This program is for Kindergarten through 5th Grade Students.

When was the last time you saw a group of children being a snake and singing  “La Vibora de La Mar” or skipping rope singing “Miss Mary Mack? JusTme, known off-stage as Timothy Scott Jr., teaches skills such as mindfulness in a way that commands kids' attention through positive rhymes and original beats.  JusTme, is a mindfulness and hip hop instructor from Fairfield, CA who works with Breathe For Change as a trainer, curriculum developer, and specialist in school programs. JusTme's style of tutelage, along with the creation and introduction of his "mindful hip hop", has helped bring mindfulness based stress reduction practices to students and families. The joint efforts of JusTme and J.G. Larochette, founder of The Mindful Life Project, have been recognized across the nation, which landed them a guest appearance on the Katie Couric show in 2014.
