Using his distinctive voice, unending sense of humor, and twelve string guitar, award winning singer/songwriter/storyteller Bob Patterson will take us on a journey through Florida’s natural landscape and talk of tales about its inhabitants.  It’s a listening experience that will evoke a sense of nostalgia for a way of life that is vanishing. Admission is free. The program, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Bradford Public Library, begins at 11 am on Monday, September 14

Patterson has played at festivals, colleges, resort hotels and premier listening rooms throughout the United States, as well as making appearances on nationally syndicated radio and television programs. Patterson is co-founder of the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival and has been featured at the Florida Folk Festival for over thirty-five years.

BCPL's Crazee 4 Art

We are going to take awesome to a new level when we combine art inspired by Jackson Pollack with an Annie Leibovitz style photo shoot!

Dripping paint on a canvas sounds fun, right?  But what if (we love to ask what if) we used water guns?  How about a bubble solution?  Why not?  T-shirts & plastic aprons will be available to protect clothes and shoes, but we still recommend that you don't wear your favorite clothes when we paint.

Jackson Pollack Inpsired Painting
For ages 4 to 8:  Monday, September 14 @ 3:30 pm
For ages 9 to 17:  Thursday, September 17 @ 3:30

The masterpieces will be used to create a really cool scene for the photo shoot in October.
Attendees will experiment with posing techniques and lighting options, as both the model and photographer.

For ages 9 to 17:  Tuesday, October 20 @ 3:30 pm
