Arthritis: Natural Ways to Manage Your Pain
Sayreville Public LibraryTuesday, Jan. 22, 7:00PM-8:30PM
Dr. Michael Rothman from MD Wellness in Red Bank, NJ will be here to discuss holistic arthritis treatments to provide the best long term results in arthritis care. He will discuss pain management techniques, and ways to avoid taking medication that can lead to dependency.
Living with arthritis means suffering from joint stiffness, swelling, redness and warmth. Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are the most common of several types of arthritis and are thought to be the result of "autoimmune disease." Most people are unaware that "autoimmune diseases" can result from inflammatory foods and undetected environmental allergies. Identifying and eliminating these toxic substances in your internal and external environment can result in significant reduction of "autoimmune disease." You don’t have to live with pain and the fear of worsening disability and dependence on medications. Attend this discussion and learn how your own overstimulated immune system is causing your symptoms and how to manage your condition.
Biography: Dr. Michael Rothman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a physician at RWJUH & Ocean Medical Center, and is an author of “Edibolic Stress - How the Lies You Are Being Fed Are Making You Sick,” a how-to guide on proper nutrition.
