Join the Sayreville Public Library and Robert Wood Johnson Fitness & Wellness Center as we host a series of fun and interactive events to help you understand why it is important to embrace a healthy lifestyle especially in the New Year. Representatives including a nurse, trainer, and doctor who run RWJ's community education program will be in house to answer questions about RWJ and their events, but most importantly, they will share their tips for healthy living. All ages are welcome to come! And even if you are a member of RWJ or other fitness centers, please feel free to come and take advantage of a panel of experts, prizes, food and a workout session!
Items on the agenda include:
-Expert panel discussion about healthy changes anyone can do to make 2013 the best and healthiest yet!
-Enjoy a fun and lighthearted game of Jeopardy: the Fitness Edition. Face off with your fellow attendees on questions regarding about blood pressure maintenance, cholesterol good vs. bad, nutrition, arthritis, diabetes I &II, muscle building/toning, weight loss and strength training just to name a few. Winners get some awesome prizes!
-A proper Health Fair would not be complete without a mini-workout. Enjoy this exhilarating workout led by one of the RWJ trainers in a boot camp style.
-RWJ will be doing blood pressure and BMI readings during this fun night.
-And don't forget refreshments!
