A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Murder-When the cast and crew of a Broadway review discover murder most foul, suspicions and old grudges loom large in the footlights! Audience members play the suspects and share the stage with our professional to guide them through the highs and lows of a hilarious Broadway-themed improv mystery performance. It's Tragedy AND Comedy Tonight.

Pizza and soda provided. For teens ages 12 - 18 who are also in grades 7 - 12.

]]>Looking to be more self-sustainable and learn a few edible plants you can cook with? Join us for a foraging walk along the trail leading to Washington Park where we will identify some basic wild edibles and afterwards cook with them in the Co-Lab! We will meet in the Co-Lab to begin.

Due to the nature of this program, registration is required, teens are asked to wear clothes appropriate to go off-trail in (close-toed shoes and pants), and it is understood that there will be wild food cooked.

The anticipated menu is a wild greens pesto (likely nettle and/or garlic mustard) with pasta and a mulberry syrup on ice cream, but this is subject to change depending on what is available in the wild.

Open to teens ages 12-18 and in grades 7-12.

Get ready to relish the moment at our Pickle Party an adult program an adult program that’s kind of a big dill.

Learn the basics of preservation with a hands-on introduction to pickling, covering everything from selecting ingredients to creating the perfect brine. We’ll spotlight classic and creative options alike, including cucumbers, onions, eggs, and beets, showing you how each transforms through the pickling process.

Sample a variety of pickled treats during our pickle tasting, where you’ll explore different flavors, textures, and techniques.

To top it all off, participants will mix their own dill pickle seasoning, crafting a custom blend of herbs and spices to take home and use in their own kitchen experiments.Come ready to taste, learn, and get a little briny—this is one party where things are meant to get pickled!

September Event: Cake Decorating for Beginners

Take your first sweet steps into the world of decorating at our Cake Decorating Workshop, a beginner-friendly adult program designed for anyone who’s ever admired a beautifully finished cake and thought, “I wish I could do that!” If you’ve been looking for a place to start, this is it—come learn, create, and discover just how approachable (and enjoyable!) cake decorating can be!

No experience? No problem. This class is crafted for beginners, with clear, step-by-step instruction that will walk you through the basics. You’ll learn foundational techniques like how to smoothly frost a cak and explore easy decorative touches that make a big visual impact. All supplies will be provided, and you’ll have plenty of time to practice in a relaxed, supportive environment—no pressure, just fun and creativity. By the end of the program, you’ll have your very own decorated cake to take home, along with the confidence to keep experimenting in your own kitchen.
