]]>Parents! YOU know your baby's a born athlete. Show him or her off at our Baby World Cup competition! Littles 10 months to 2 and a half years old can compete in such high-pressure events as agility drills (crawling through cones) and penalty kicks (getting a ball into the net, one way or another!). There will be a fun photo opportunity, Team Shirts for all the babies, and power snacks. Who will take home the Cup? (Everyone!)

Reading buddies is great for tweens and teens who love kids, helping their community and love sharing their love of books. This introductory class will cover the basics of Microsoft Excel including how to navigate workbooks and sheets, enter data, basic formatting, along with common introductory formulas and functions. ]]>Calling Tweens and Teens Inventors, entering grades 5-8, are invited to a marble-ous experience – Marble Arcade by Invention Project. At this high-energy program that combines physics, engineering and gaming, tweens and teens design and build a mega marble machine. After investigating math, motion and chain reactions, testing their designs and running time trials with objects including glowing LED marbles, children collaborate and cheer each other on as they iterate and improve on their designs. Registration is required. Attendance at all 4 sessions is encouraged.

]]>Calling all little paleontologists! Join us for Dino-Fest, a roaring good STEAM adventure designed especially for preschool and kindergarten children.
Families will rotate through six hands-on dinosaur-themed stations featuring science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities. Dig for fossils, build dino creations, explore sensory activities, and discover the amazing world of dinosaurs through play and creativity.

This open house style program will take place in the Flood Family Room and allows families to move from station to station at their own pace while exploring fun, interactive learning experiences together.

Join us for our Summer Coding Clubs with FieroCode! We’ll meet twice in June. On Saturday, June 6 and Tueday, June 16 both at 2:30 p.m. We ask that you choose one of the two days to attend, as space is limited. If you want your kid to learn important tech skills and have fun along the way, we’d love to see them there! They’ll work on basic computer skills, learn how to make websites, video games, apps, animations, and more! So come have fun, make friends, and create cool stuff with us! No coding experience required! For students entering 3rd grade and up, meets in the computer lab on the second floor, snacks will be provided.

]]>Curious students going into grades 1 - 3 can join us monthly for a fun-filled scientific adventure! For the first session, Holden Arboretum will take us on a journey through Ohio's Ice Age, where we will learn what plant and animal life was like in Ohio 20,000 years ago. Participants will even get to handle some fossils of extinct Ohio life, and plant a seed from an ancient tree species that still thrives here today.
Future sessions will take place on July 15 and August 5, with separate registrations for each.
