Learn about the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging using recycled materials in this family friendly class presented by Natasha Liu!

Natasha is a member of Ikebana International Sacramento Chapter and has 14 years of experience practicing the art of Sogetsu Ikebana. Ikebana has taught her to slow down and appreciate the things that nature provides.

Materials will be provided to make your own flower arrangement in a recycled soda can!

Open to all ages, though geared for ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration required, one registration per family. Register early for this class as seating is limited. Please cancel your reservation if you cannot make the class to allow others to join in the fun.

Ages 9 - 14 (or 4th through 8th grade) are invited to join the library's Dungeons & Dragons Club, a eight-session campaign filled with creativity, teamwork, and imagination.

Sessions meet every other Saturday from 1:00 - 3:30pm, beginning on September 12 and running until December 19

Our Dungeon Master will be Michael Schaefer, a former El Dorado County Library employee and D&D afficionado who will be showing us how to play! Meetings will take place in the library's teen corner.

These include the Hydrorobot Arm Kit and the Solar Robot Kit, where you’ll have the opportunity to build up to twelve different robots. By building and coding a robot, children gain hands-on experience with real-world problem-solving, engineering, and logical thinking.

This program is intended for children ages 6 to 12. Additional stations may be introduced as the program grows!
